Original watercolor and mixed media on 8 x 10 canvas.   Highway 285 in Colorado is a scenic drive known to us as an alternative to avoid I-25 when traveling anywhere north of Hwy 160.   Traveling back from a day of hiking, this sunset was the perfect end to a tiring day.  I commented to my friend, "I wish I could capture those colors using watercolor"   I came pretty close with this one after a lot of mixing and testing.
